The skies were grey; rain poured down in an never ending cascade. Again. It was one of the unique features of San Angelas. During the autumn the weather didn't begin to turn cold as winter approached. Instead, it simply rained nonstop. Winter's themselves were quite mild, with just enough snow falling to make Christmas picture perfect. It was not a heavy rain though. It wasn't the type of storm that would wash the side walks clean, turn the streets into cannals or force the worms to flee up, out of the earth, for fear of drowning. "What the hell was the point of getting me nice clothes, and getting me all cleaned up if they were just going to throw me back in a cell?" Alex stewed, pacing the room restlessly.  
 
Across the chamber Demitri relaxed, comfortably stretched out on a four poster bed, forepaws crossed, watching as Alex paced back and forth. "Well, in all fairness, this isn't really a cell."  
 
"It's a room with guards outside, stopping me from leaving. As far as I'm concerned, that makes it a prison cell!" Alex snapped back.

The rain had come suddenly, and the soldiers were quickly soaked, grumbling, and pulling their crimson cloaks close to themselves. It was unexpected rain; the day having started out so beautifully. Blue skies, not a cloud to be seen, a fair breeze blowing through the air. However, no sooner then they'd left the capital then the clouds had appeared and quickly darkened. The wind kicked up in a furious gale and the rain had began to pour. Thankfully the soldiers and the wagons they'd been escorting had managed to reach the woods as the storm had started. I've been trying to learn how to draw for several months now. While my drawing ability has improved quite a bit, I still can't draw anything good enough to post on here. So, if any artists happend to stumble upon this journal entry, would you mind leaving some advice to help me.

...It's somewhat amazing where an idle search can take you if you let it... Uh... I don't really know how to complement your writing as one author to another without sounding like a perv... All the same, your stories made for an *ahem* 'engrosing' read.
