I've been trying to learn how to draw for several months now. While my drawing ability has improved quite a bit, I still can't draw anything good enough to post on here. So, if any artists happend to stumble upon this journal entry, would you mind leaving some advice to help me.

For anyone who's noticed and is wondering. I decided to take down the start of my DCSD story.

is having another contest, and after thinking about the story I had going, (which would of been my entry) I decided it wasnt that good....or at least it wouldnt of been good enough to win. Which I really want to, though I doubt I will. In a contest between the written word and art, Im pretty sure the winning entry will be a picture.

That doesnt mean Im not going to give it my all. Though if I do come out on top, I'll be as surprised as anyone else.

No one will care about this, its not really interesting, and if anything I suggest you do skip this, but I feel like venting alittle. You know how when things are bouncing around your head its just nice sometimes to put it down on paper, get them out of your system... well thats what this is...more or less.

Lately Ive been feeling a little...depressed... about life. Not "crawling in your skin", slitting your wristes in the shower depressed, but everything just seems....blah. Nothing seems to excite or interest me anymore, and my head seems to be locked in this screwy neutral state... like my thoughts are trapped in a sea of white noise. If anything it kind of seems like Im dreaming when im awake, which is an interesting feeling at first, but quickly becomes tiresome and unnerving...

I cant seem to write lately. Ive tried for about a week, and I dont know... Most of the time I get a few lines down and then any will to continue vanishes and I just quit. And the few times I do manage to get a good amount of stuff down, I always feel like its not that good.

Who knows....maybe its just a mid-winter slump. Hopefully I'll get over it soon.

Ah its almost New Years Eve...man thats depressing. It seems like the years are passing way too quickly. At any rate I hope you all had a good Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/what ever the hell else people celebrate this time of the year.

Im really sorry I havent posted anything in....well forever. Thats going to change (hopefully) in the coming year. Im promising right now that I'll add something at least once a week for now on! And if I dont, send me a message....a very angry angry message telling me to get off my ass and write something. I do have a few things done, and I'll post those on New Years day.
